Designers Wanted! Your country needs your designs!
Teenagers from across the UK are needed to design the kits of the Global World Amateur Football Cup Finalists.
The GWAFC tournament will kick off in 2012 and showcase the best in youth talent.
Teams will represent countries from across the world to become the best amateur team.
Teenagers are being asked to put forward their ideas in a T-Shirt Competition. A winning entry will be chosen for each team.
These will be worn by the GWAFC finalists and be made into replica shirts for supporters.
Stephen Williams, Event Organisor, says,
“This tournament is about celebrating diversity and who better to design the shirts than the diverse teenagers of the UK.”
Entries are being sought from people ages 11-16, the same age range as the players. There will be four tournaments 11-13’s and 14-16s for both boys and girls.
So the designs must be suitable for both male and female players. Other than that, the design brief is wide open and some fantastic entries are expected.
